As we are talking to one another in our circle in the Mosque , a guy came with strange clothes he was wearing sunglasses ,long dreads and dressed like one of those Liberals, and he came to sit with us, saying "Hi be on you".
We Responded in a Shock "peace be upon you Brother".
He sat down with a chewing gum in his mouth and our Sheikh looked at him with a look that was very neutral, only that he was Critical of the Machine gun he was carrying and said :" My son what have brought you inside the mosque with this Gun".
He responded: " I want to debate the Sheikh of this group, if i am wrong then i will abide by the laws of Sharia and you may kill me, for being an apostate if not then i will have to fight you untill you believe"
The Sheikh was surprised and told us not to grab this crazy guy as we were very angry because he insulted our sheikh and showed no respect "what is it that annoys you, to the extent of carrying arms against a Brother?" Said our Sheikh
" First because i am your son and not your brother , second because you want me to abide by your non-secular laws, and third because you would carry arms if i was in Power" the guy replied
The Sheikh said : "then witness that we are your followers and we are Liberal Muslims too...now drop the Gun and Teach us something new"
He came up on the seat of the Sheikh and said :"I will first ban these circles and meetings in the mosque"
The Sheikh said :" then where could we group to learn from you ?!"
"At my place" he replied , The sheikh said then your place will be our Mosque
He said : " no there are no Mosques and there are no Imams, everywhere is a mosque and all people are Imams"
The Sheikh replied : "for years i have been teaching that and non of those students understood"...
The Sheikh took off his cloak, dressed the Liberal Jihadist the cloak and ran out of the Mosque !
We followed him and so did the Liberal Jihadist and shouted after him:,"where are you going Sheikh?"
He stopped , sat down by the small river as he was crying he said :"all of those years i thought i understood something and i was teaching you to stay in the Mosque and leave the real Mosque everywhere and to unfollow everyone and to follow me"
The Liberal Jihadist : " here i am following you and may allah witness that you are an Imam , I am an Ignorant and an apostate , and all those people you are now telling them to follow someone else who failed in the test and thought he is better than you , Shame on me , I deserve to be Killed"
The Sheikh replied : "how could i perform this under the cieling of this Mosque made of Sky and the carpets that are made of Sand...don't follow me, follow the Qibla(direction) where this river ends in a sea that has no shores" ...he added :" I was waiting for you to Liberate me from my Ego and now your test begins, lead those people to Heaven...I failed in my test"
we never saw the Sheikh Again and the Liberal Jihadist became our Socialist Sufi spiritual leader...
We followed the River as he told us to search and never found but ourselves...we tried to search for ourselves and found nothing but Allah
